Just Keep Swimming

Over the weekend, which I'll continue talking about tomorrow, I got suuuper sick. I didn't realize how sick I was until I got up on Monday morning and couldn't function so stayed home (and am home again today, boo). Generally when I'm sick, I don't stay home, old habits. I expected to really enjoy it- watch tv, play video games, eat food out of my own crappy fridge instead of my office's, catch up on blogs, maybe even go to do some errands at stores that are only inconveniently open when I am at work.

But I did not enjoy it. I was too sick to enjoy it. I tried to work for half the day, then come 11am, I was exhausted from even just laying in bed poking at my laptop, feeling so much worse than I did when I woke up. So I just closed my computer and spent the rest of the day watching Survivor (which is on hulu now just begging to have all 15 seasons- they only have the last 2/3 of them or so- binge watched) and forcing myself to eat great sick foods like leftover stew and leftover soup and Star Wars macaroni and cheese (which was not good, ugh).

Oh and I totally watched L's George Morris DVD that she let me borrow on Saturday (perfect timing for my illness), it's just as glorious as she describes.

In the middle of the day when I was feeling the most shitty, I got the best text message ever, containing the most amazing video, which unfortunately is all you really get for today because I'm really tired from writing this post. Hopefully I can manage to have enough energy today to edit the post I had planned for tomorrow, since it contains some interesting information that the owner of the facility told me.

This video made my day!
