Well, we've had a TON of rain over the last few weeks, so I'm just road walking or even just scraping the mud off of the horse and then putting him back into it. He is thriving.

I cannot WAIT for it to get warm enough to bathe him. It's going to take me months to get him clean. But at least he's happy!

ReplyDeleteI just wanted to say that I found your blog a couple months ago and have read the most recent 3 years worth of posts back to back. Your stories are so funny and also educational to someone who is very new to dressage. I also wanted to thank you for sharing what you did about Celeste because I found her master class and and starting the pillar work. I was wondering if you get a chance if you'd be willing to share how things are going with your writing more than a year out after incorporating pillar work. Do you still use the pillar work and philosophies at the heart of your writing or is it now just one of many pieces of your philosophy? Curious because I know you mentioned it was foundationally changing your perspective at the time that you learned it and was wondering if that still felt true now or how you navigate the challenges of going up the levels of dressage with the pillar work and always being in pillar one etc
